Pelo Bueno
Rainbow Sherbet sunsets that
taste of Orange Creamsicle
on Earths shortest day.
Irises like papyrus,
soaks with the solar
ink that lingers on
the horizon.
She waits, her eyes—
liquified cooper,
by the bodega door for
last-minute sweet nothings.
